ACE-LOTTO v0.9 by Facchinetti Active Software
===================================

ACE-LOTTO is a lottery program with a built-in algorithm that guarantees a "3" win every
lottery draw. The system can be configured to balance the number of grids to play versus
the minimum number of "3" obtained every draw. The program has been originally developped
for the Swiss lottery (1997 numbers in the database already), but can be configured in the
"Preferences" menu to handle lotteries with up to 99 numbers.

ACE-LOTTO v0.9 is freeware. You may however obtain the latest point release (as of
08.06.1997 v 1.1 is available in english or french) plus a detailed manual by sending a
US$19 money order to:

All details of the program, plus the system itself, presented in the manual. Thanks for
supporting my work and ordering it (see top of this text for order details :-) Besides,
you get the latest point release with

- bug fixes

- more functionality

The program
----------------

ACE-LOTTO v0.9 handles:

- a database of all draws (supporting up to two draws a week)
- graphic statistics for number drawn (appearances and delays)
- favorite number lists for system configuration
- wins for new draws or any draw in the database
- testing system configuration against the draws database
- setting preferences to configure for other lotteries, system played, etc
- graphic interface for most user inputs
- ...

How it works
-----------------

ACE-LOTTO uses a system based on list of 22 numbers. Hence, for the 45 numbers of the Swiss
lottery two lists totalling 44 numbers should be played (number 45 may not be played). The
result is a system with 154 grids which guarantees a "3" win at the minimum. In fact, the
number of grids can be brought down to 38 (in the "Preferences" menu by setting the step to
2 and laying only one list) with about a "3" every draw. Not bad!

User guide
-------------

ACE-LOTTO is simpe to use. The user is guided through the program by menus, graphics and
help lines. The help line (bottom line on the screen) is context sensitive and shows the
user what keys he is able to press:

[CR]	: enter
[CL]	: clear
[09]	: keys 0 to 9
[^^]	: arrow keys
[DL]	: del

Draws are shown in split graphic mode. When entering numbers for draws, the keys 0-9, the
del key and the arrow keys are active for number input.

Matrices D and E contain respectively the Wednesday and Saturday draws. line 1 is the
latest draw, line 2 the draw for the week before, etc. The program manages the database,
allowing the user to enter draws every week, but for a start the user may edit the two
matrices directly to fill out the 99 lines. If only one draw per week is selected in the
"Preferences", then only one matrix needs to be filled out.

The following resources are used by the program:

matrices: B,C,D,E
lists: L5, L6
picture: Pic1

Enjoy!
